Grandpa Bob send this my way and I really enjoyed it, so I thought I'd share.

Rain or Shine
Happy Easter one and all! What a blessed day to be a Christian and celebrate our Saviour's resurrection. Following the morning service, our church always has an egg hunt - rain or shine. Today, unfortunately it was rain. It didn't seem to faze the kids at all -although my umbrella was blown inside out and Addison's hat wouldn't say on. I have pics of the two little ones but will need to wait until Grannie gives me the pictures she took of Raymond to post those.

McTeacher's Night
Denise Minge and me -------------- Grannie brought the kids ----------------- Kevin making fries
Kevin is working hard to get a flag-football team started at our very small Christian school. We only have enough players to field an 8-a-side team, but the boys are excited to play and have already started practicing. Unlike most tackle football programs in public schools, we will play in the spring, instead of the fall. There are 5-6 schools in the NW that are interested and possibly willing to play, so Kevin has adapted a rules book and is now trying to raise funds to buy uniforms and equipment for our team.
The most recent fundraiser was a McTeacher's Nite. It was actually a lot of fun! I worked up front and had my first ever experience behind the counter of a fast food restaurant. Business was brisk and we'll find out hopefully within the next week how much money we made. I'll keep you posted as more develops on the football front

A Valentine for my sweet
I know, I know... long time since Valentines day, but I'm a bit behind. I had actually forgotten that I had taken these pictures... and there are several more that I am not putting here, but you can look at on our dropshots site... but it made me laugh because I was guilty of the same crime for many, many years growing up.
My dear old dad always bought mom this amazing, enormous box of chocolates for Valentines Day. I love chocolate, but have not always appreciated every filling. So, I'd inconspicuously (or so I thought) bite the corners off - returning those I didn't like and thoroughly enjoying those I did. I just didn't see what the problem was... now that it is my box of chocolates, I'm not so keen on the sharing and returning! My folks always said we'd be paid back in spades for the things we did growing up... I guess this is all part of it!

It seems that time is just whizzing by me. I keep meaning to sit down to blog but either don't have the time when something worth saying is on my mind or don't have anything to record when I do have the time.
A few quick, noteworthy things:
- I passed my commercial drivers license test so I can now drive a bus on field trips for school!
- Kevin is testing with different police departments - more as we know
- Raymond finally got a 100% on his weekly spelling test AND memory verse - which warrented a guinea pig (more when I get pics)
- Zachary is finally getting over some crazy flu bug (after several days of way high temps -103.5 and some vomiting
- Addison is learning to use her cute little smile to get out of trouble
- I sewed my very first little girls dress and LOVED it!
There... all caught up - I'll post more on each of these soon (I hope!)

Nothing new
It's been awhile since I posted. I guess we are just busy with life...the kids are back into somewhat of a routine after Christmas break and growing, growing, growing... time to move to the next size up for all three of them! I saw Raymond darting to the bathroom in his skivvies the other night and realized just how skinny that kid really is. Certainly not for lack of eating. Kevin says he was the same way growing up. We both think Ray will be taller than his dad one of these days. I just can't believe that that is my baby, when I look at him. A few more months and he'll be 8. Zachary has finally found his voice and has no trouble using it. He frequently gives his "opinion" in matters and has coined a few phrases that we hear frequently. "Raymond, stop teasing me" is a favorite as is "you stop that this minute". Both funny, in that he is simply repeating what he has heard... Addison is coming into her own, as well. She has what we affectionately term an "Addie-tude", complete with the Rau pouty lip. I posted some photos of her in her glory awhile ago. She's something else and I can't get enough of her daddy simply stating, "she's beautiful, isn't she?!" Not that he's really asking...

Santa Pictures

I'm just a sucker this time of year... they must see me coming! There are just so many fantastic things to see and do during Christmas and it all makes me feel so festive, especially visiting Santa. Actually, I always take my kids to see Santa and usually get the token picture. Now, instead of buying the poor quality prints from them, you can simply buy a CD with the image on it and get your own prints! Gotta love that! I noticed that you are now also allowed to take pictures of your kids and Santa with your own, personal camera (provided you make a minimum purchase). Guess I'll file that away for next year! Anyway, here our three...after only a 20 minute wait ;o)
