They were able to take x-rays on one side, but poor guy kept gaging when she tried to put the film in on the other side. We eventually decided it could wait until next time, as nothing significant appeared to be wrong. After the initial gaging episode, I wasn't sure what to expect when the hygienist came in with those notorious "teeth trays", full of a fluoride treatment. She explained what she was going to do and I should have taken a picture of Zachary's face then, because he looked a little stressed with anticipation.
It all worked out in the end and he was miraculously able to keep them in his mouth the necessary time without 1. gaging or 2. panicking. He did a great job!
